Why Death Doesn’t Scare Me

Why death doesn’t scare me.

It doesn’t scare me because from moment I am born, I die begin dying each moment of each day,

With each breath I take life slips away one breath at a time,

So, from the day of birth, I am already dying.

Why death doesn’t scare me.

You see, with each phase from childhood to teen, to young adult onward

We are dying and entering new life, hopefully a joyful one of happy and wise choices, long-term joyful choices,

So, from the day of birth, I am already dying.

For this reason and because I am one with Elohim, death doesn’t scare me.

I recently found out someone I care for deeply lost someone dear to them and thought about how many people fear death and it just made me think about my own feelings about the subject and this short poem came out of that.
