Boundaries, What’s That All About

Published by kappello on

When people think about setting boundaries, drawing lines, even with themselves, the though they, we may have is, something along the lines of not wanting to control or being controlled.  Problem with that is lack of boundaries is being controlled and at some point having to then go overboard on control because things get out of control.  If there are no boundaries for ourselves in terms of spiritual discernment, diet, relationships, finances etc…, then we become slaves and thus are controlled, but in ways that are very destructive, particularly for the long term.  If you are wondering why boundaries, lines drawn, so on and so forth matter for society, for one personally this is why.  If you don’t have that, then you are actually controlled in ways that are not good, not positive.  Remember we have relationship to everything, money, people, food, so many things, and boundaries decide whether we are free to live a well and healthy life, path or the opposite.

Namaste, Shalom and Amen
