Faith or Imulsiveness

Published by kappello on

Faith or impulsive based actions, good question. I recently, impulsively, set up an account on twitch tv to transmit live streaming my upcoming concert and had not paid attention to an important detail.  You have to download extensions and all that, so I canceled that account today, though my website ad says it will be on twitch tv.  I then impulsively found another platform online, seemed great, signed up, but seems you can’t do streaming fo more than half-hour.   I have lots of faith in the potential of my path as an artist, but I seem to have not fully grasped that faith does not mean being impulsive, with the excuse of having faith, trusting and all that.  God still expects us to be wise in our decisions, so rather than look at outside sources, I can use a platform I am on all the time, FB live streaming.  My VA can set it all up and I can use FB live streaming to stream periodically.  Faith matters, but so does wisdom, so the saying of “look before you leap” is not bad advice.  Not to say you spend all your time just dreaming and thinking, planning without ever doing what you feel called to do.  You should have some wise decision-making process, prayer, meditation, and making sure you do understand the details before jumping in.  That I something I still have to master, faith does not mean being impulsive.

Amen
