A Mother’s Love

Mother and child, no matter what age, that relationship is one of many layers and it can be one that is like a tug of war.  The parent. mom knows she has to let go, has to give them wings, but at the same time wants to keep them safe.  The son or daughter at the same time he or she wants to fly and be independent wants the love, care and safety of the mother’s love.   At the end of the day when you have a mother that is whole and strong in herself and you have a healthy mature bond with your mom, that relationship is a true treasure.

Born in New Jersey, August 1965, this Italian-American has always had a great interest in music, particularly the Oldies, Country and Ethnic music, including Irish. For over 10 years Ms. Appello passionately taught ESL to students of varying ages. Grounded if her faith and spirituality, Katherine endured a range of issues, including a great deal of pain, which was finally diagnosed to be associated with Fibromyalgia. The essence and the power of music, of words, allow Katherine to overcome these struggles each and every time.
