Christmas Gift

As Christmas approaches, I won’t be fully joining in the festivities due to prep for my endoscopy/colonoscopy the day after Christmas.  The prep is not fun, and Christmas Eve, I will be at the festivities, but will be very careful what I eat.  Yet, last night as I was watching a TBN special with Andrea Boccelli, when he sang Adeste Fideles I sang my heart out, was tearing up.  I was so grateful for the gift of The Son of Man who set us free, for the opportunity put forth to by for a radio show, for good friends, people in my life who love me and whom I care about.   Yes, I have lost my song for a while due to running around one doctor’s appointment and test to another, just the fatigue of the Fibromyalgia, but not really, since I still have this call to share on my blog, to stand firm for God and Country through my twittering, so the gifts of who I am, what is dear to my heart etc…, that song never leaves me.  I’m grateful for that.  I hope you can go beyond the material and find gifts in your life that touch your heart, spirit and soul.

Namaste, Shalom and Amen
