In this crazy world and in the day to day craziness of our day, prayer, meditation can get lost in transit, but meditation and prayerful contemplation, not tor the purpose of beating one’s self up, but for self improvement, is a good thing. Sometimes we don’t even know where to start, or we don’t want to just do rote prayers, so this exercise might be a good place to start. Prayer doesn’t have to be about a crisis, or God give me, give me, give me. It can be about reflecting on something that maybe seemed off the day or you are just uncertain about how to proceed, or even take a good hard look at one’s self in a particular situation. I hope you will give this a try, I know I will. If we don’t manage to do it every day, it’s oaky, maybe initially we do it every other day or a few times a week, that’s fine. Don’t see not doing it every day as you failed, failure only occurs if you don’t even give it a shot.
