Longest Night

A prayer, petition, one that we put forward over and it never seems to materialize.  What do we do with that?  Maybe we’re praying the wrong prayer,  and what’s being asked of God is not in our best interest.  When petitioning the Heavens, we may have an answer of yes, no or not right now, and one of the spiritual skills that we all should develop is discernment to know which of the three is an answer.  Don’t give up too quickly on that prayer in your heart, one that maybe you haven’t even shared with others, those close to you.  Also, be willing to accept “no” or “not right now” and be okay with this.

Born in New Jersey, August 1965, this Italian-American has always had a great interest in music, particularly the Oldies, Country and Ethnic music, including Irish. For over 10 years Ms. Appello passionately taught ESL to students of varying ages. Grounded if her faith and spirituality, Katherine endured a range of issues, including a great deal of pain, which was finally diagnosed to be associated with Fibromyalgia. The essence and the power of music, of words, allow Katherine to overcome these struggles each and every time.
