Parent Self Care

Being a parent is by nature about care, providing care, nurturing etc.., but to do that effectively on an ongoing basis, especially in today’s world where you have a lot of single parents due to divorce or by choice, or because both have to work due to economics the parent can burn out easily.  While technology is great, we have become so reliant and others feel they can reach us 24/7 that really we have to “me” time to speak of, even if you’re not a parent.   It’s important as a caretaker to be also a caretaker fo self, so I hope these tips will be helpful to you because remember if you are run down, burnt out, ill, you won’t be of much good to anyone, much less yourself.  Be good to you, then you can be good to others.
