As I see it a relationship is a bout being as One, but also an individual, about acceptance, not saying accepting ill treatment, no. Just referring to basic acceptance. The men I have connected to in my life, count them on one hand, whether in the physical, emotional actual realm or through psychic bonding, I have thought about how I would change them, how I wanted them to be different, There is only one person I have connected to, saw him a bit over week ago by chance, and as I meditated, listened to the 22 Chakra meditation this realization hit. This is the one person I have no interest in changing, never occurred to me to want to change him if we were to ever come together. I get the sense he is a bit of a perfectionist, so something that in my mom, in others irritates me, but with this person, I have this sense of I totally accept you, embrace you etc… Not sure why the difference, and if we never cross paths, never go beyond the psychic link I wont ever likely know why, but whatever the reason, when this person pops into my head and any thought of a potential coming together springs to mind, the word Team comes to me, “As one, yet as individuals”. I hope that is what life will bring me, this kind of union where I don’t have any sense i want to change who they are, what they might believe in, but rather be firm in who I am and still grow and learn in this life journey with them.
I have been creating meditations for myself for the longest time, affirmations etc.., but so far, not really yielded the results I would have hoped, so what gives?
I am studying Coaching and the first course is How to Coach Yourself, so one of the assignments is a meditation and as I looked at it and recorded it, it dawned on me. I was setting an agenda, but not really asking questions to determine what the agenda should be, what my life’s purpose truly was as per the Lord’s anointing and what parallel to that was in my heart, spirit and soul, for long term fulfillment and joy. The meditation given to us asks questions, asks us to reflect on these questions, find the answers deep within, the authentic and true answers, ask divine guidance as per our faith. The other thing is that I always do the meditation in first person, so I am going to record it in second person and listen to it, see how that works out. The journey to authentic self for me has to tie into my core anchor, Christ, not religion per se, but Christ. That’s important, but the life I live, where I live, so many aspects of getting a destination of the painting has been painted, fully painted, that is where this meditation comes in.
It is in the silence that I must go, in that silence I will find the answers. Silence, total silence is not always a comfort for us, it scares us, to be totally alone with ourselves because what will we find in our hearts, spirits and souls, in that depth will the heavens speak to us.
If we look in scripture we see color associated with for example the priesthood, royalty, regalness, and seasons have colors, nature is all about a range of colors. In winter people can get more depressed, less light, less, color. Yet, too much sun and your skin burns and it can be deadly, so too much yellow, hmmm, not so good. Too much darkness and depression will set in, so everything, even color has impact and I find it interesting what colors mean, what effect they can have on mood. Interior decorators will use color to often give the appearance of more space to smaller apartments or rooms, or add color accents with rugs to do so. How can we use color?
When decorating, if we have someone who has good taste to help us out and can work with the color wheel we might be able to create the perfect harmony of colors in the home, and same goes for our office if we have leeway in decorating. What about wardrobe? Let’s say you want to look savvy, sophisticated, but also vibrant, well maybe outfits for ladies that mix black with turquoise when going to work or to events, things like that. If you want to bring creativity to your area if you are an artist, find a balance of two colors to bring out focus, but also creative flow, put decor around your space, artistic space or workspace. We can encourage others to do the same, friends, family, partners. It seems to be an interesting area of consideration as regards moods and psychology, even for how we decorate our space, our wardrobe, accessories. Don’t you think?
When we refer to mindfulness, being in the moment, that sense of being in the moment and letting the moment just be, acknowledge what it feels like, but don’t immediately react, don’t be reactive, get centered, it has a number of benefits. I did a bit of research and wanted to share them with you.
Higher brain functioning
Increased immune function
Lowered blood pressure
Lowered heart rate
Lowered anxiety levels
Experience of being calm and internally still
Experience of feeling connected
Increased attention and focus
Increased clarity in thinking and perception
These are the core benefits of practicing awareness, and for me music and prayer are how I do mindfulness. When the weather is nicer and flowers are in bloom, sitting in the park with headphones and calming music, observing the world around me is how I plan to enhance awareness even further. As we get more centered and clear in our mind etc… the greater clarity our lives will have.
This meditation will help you at any time of the day to connect to the Holy Spirit, to sacred Spirit, you and the creator coming together to connect to that Sacred Spirit, to wisdom. Wisdom is the greatest gift you could be given in this lifetime, without wisdom, doesn’t matter how many Ph.d degrees you get, you’ll never get life, not as God would have us “get it”. I hope this helps you in your journey to making choices and decision, to receive divine inspiration.
Notice all these organizations dedicated to Peace that have come up in the world, and how everyone seems to seek peace. People seem to seek peace in stuff, in having lots of money, in having the perfect relationship, all these things, but yet peace seems to escape us. Even those who seem to have riches and seemingly perfect relationships, where’s the everlasting peace? When Jesus talks of peace that is not the kind the world gives, he is right. The world gives temporary peace, flesh peace, but no lasting peace of the heart, spirit and soul. Try something for me. Focused on the person of Christ, clear boundaries in life and listening to this music somewhere quiet for at least 15 minutes a day for a week, see how you feel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwoJFRGKm40. See what happens, make the time at the beginning, the end of the day, middle of the day, go by instinct. We can aim for all the fame and wealth etc.. in the world, none of that will bring us true and lasting peace, none of it, especially not if it was achieved unethically.
